Assistant Area Manager

The Assistant Area Manager is responsible for supporting the growth, performance, and productivity of the assigned agency sales team within the designated area. The role focuses on driving sales performance, recruitment, retention, training, and business development while ensuring alignment with GGI Nippon Life’s sales targets, operational standards, and compliance policies.

The Assistant Area Manager plays a key leadership role in agency expansion, people development, and achieving sustainable business growth.

Drive and achieve assigned sales targets by monitoring team performance, productivity, and business growth.
Support agency growth by recruiting quality agents, sales managers and expanding the sales network within the assigned area.
Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to improve sales managers and agents team capability, productivity, and performance.
Enhance agent retention, engagement, and productivity through effective management and motivation.
Develop and execute sales plans, monitor progress, and ensure achievement of business objectives (especially sales targets).
Identify market opportunities, strengthen agent relationships, and expand market presence.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
Lead, motivate, and develop the team to foster a high-performance and results-driven culture.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services.
Minimum 2 years in team leadership or people management role preferred.
Have managed a team of at least 5 team leaders / supervisors.
Strong background in agency sales, recruitment, and business development is an advantage.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
Have worked with tight schedules and deadlines.
Experience in Life Insurance industry preferred.
